St. Aloysius Outreach Center had its beginning with the arrival of the Franciscan Friars in 1992. Encouraged by Archbishop Vigneron, The Friars are dedicated to following Jesus, by living and working among the poor. More than 1500 people visit the center every week. We work with the poor and disenfranchised in the downtown area addressing the underlying problems of systemic poverty. We address their immediate needs for food, clothing, and shelter. Our Parish Nurse works to address the Health and Wholeness issues of not only with in our neighborhood but the greater community at large. The Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:00 am till 3:00pm. Saturday's from 9:00 am till 11:00 am. On Sunday, a Bible Study is offered.
